My main goal is to capture you and your family authentically. While the majority of the session will be focused on interaction, I always strive to get a great set of core posed images with everyone looking at the camera! With this combination, you will have a full gallery capturing all of those fleeting moments to hold on to forever.  

Outdoor family sessions usually take place in the morning or evening, close to golden hour. This creates that beautiful, dreamy light for flattering images. Most family sessions are booked in the spring and fall. Limited sessions are available in winter and summer - so reserve your spot early if you prefer that timing!

Your images will be ready in approximately 2 weeks. When choosing your session date, be sure to allow time for editing and ordering any prints or products. Once your gallery is ready, you will receive an email that holds your gallery link along with instructions on how to place any orders or redeem any included digitals or prints. If you prefer to view your gallery in person, we can make that happen too!

Definitely. I often travel outside of the St. Louis metro area for lifestyle sessions, though there is a travel fee. (Inquire for details)

I offer extended family sessions to include Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Best Friends, you name it! I take time ahead of the session to plan out combinations to make the most of your session, making sure to deliver a mix of large group photos and small family photos - including images of couples, individual portraits and all the combinations your heart desires. There is an additional fee for extended family sessions. (Inquire for details)

I usually stalk the weather app weekly. If bad weather is on the horizon, we'll make a decision a day or two prior to your shoot. We will reschedule your session for a date as soon as possible, if it happens to be bad weather on the date of your session

I do small events, under 4 hours. And micro weddings. Micro weddings are small intimate affairs, just the couple or up to 50 people and range from a 30 minute shoot to 2 hours. 

For longer coverage I'd be happy to refer you to other photographers that do a beautiful job with wedding and event  photography!

No pinstripes or lines/dots that look like pinstripes. Wardrobe options with this print tends to create a strange wavy optical illusion that can't be fixed in post production. 

I also typically say pick a pattern, select a pop of colour from that pattern, and let the rest of the colors compliment your first 2 selections.
